Tse Yim On

Tse Yim On (b. 1974, Hong Kong) is a contemporary painter whose vibrant, pop-infused works explore the complexities of Hong Kong culture. Drawing from anime, manga, and Generation X influences, his bold canvases blend cartoon aesthetics with sharp social commentary. A graduate of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (MFA, 2001), Tse has received the Hong Kong Urban Council Fine Art Award (1998) and is held in the permanent collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art. He continues to exhibit internationally while lecturing at CUHK.
