A Platform for Modern and Contemporary Asian Art
Established in Singapore in 1999, iPreciation is a fine art gallery dedicated to modern and contemporary Asian art. Through exhibitions, public art projects and art consultancy, the gallery works closely with artists, collectors and institutions to present and advance significant artistic practices from Singapore and across Asia. With a programme spanning established and emerging artists, iPreciation seeks to foster sustained engagement with Asian art through exhibitions, publications, international art fairs and public-facing projects.

From its beginnings in Singapore, the gallery has expanded its activities across exhibitions, international art fairs, public art projects and art consultancy. Its programme has encompassed established and emerging artists from Singapore and across Asia, alongside collaborations with collectors, corporations and cultural institutions.
Over the years, iPreciation has contributed to the presentation of Asian art in Singapore and internationally, while cultivating enduring relationships across the artistic, institutional and collecting communities.
Today, the gallery continues to serve as a platform for artistic exchange and cultural dialogue, connecting significant Asian artistic practices with audiences and institutions locally and internationally.

2016
Lee Wen Wins the Joseph Balestier Award
Lee Wen’s recognition through the Joseph Balestier Award marked another significant moment associated with an artist closely connected to iPreciation’s programme and Singapore’s contemporary art development.
2015
Singapore Tatler Best Gallery Recognition
In 2015, iPreciation received recognition from Singapore Tatler, further affirming the gallery’s role within Singapore’s art ecosystem.
2014
Lee Wen and Yellow Man / Red Lantern
In 2014, Lee Wen was featured in relation to his ongoing Yellow Man performance series, in which he explored performative identity through public interventions. His work contributed to Singapore’s contemporary art discourse and remains an important part of regional performance art history.
2013
iPreciation Relocated to HPL House, Cuscaden Road
In 2013, iPreciation relocated to its current gallery space at HPL House, 50 Cuscaden Road #01-01. Located near Orchard Road, the gallery continues to serve as a platform for contemporary Asian art in Singapore.
2010
Ju Ming’s Monumental Exquisition
Monumental Exquisition was a major collaborative exhibition presented by iPreciation in partnership with Sotheby’s and Hongkong Land, featuring monumental works by Ju Ming. Installed across prominent sites in Hong Kong, the exhibition highlighted the artist’s Taichi and Living World series. The project underscored the evolving relationship between contemporary sculpture, urban space and institutional collaboration.
2006
The Gao Xingjian Experience at Singapore Art Museum
In 2006, Gao Xingjian presented ink works in Singapore through The Gao Xingjian Experience, in collaboration with iPreciation and the Singapore Art Museum. The exhibition highlighted Gao Xingjian’s evolving visual practice alongside his internationally established literary reputation. The exhibition formed part of the broader dissemination of his ink-based works across Asia during this period. Gao Xingjian also donated the largest painting of his career to the Singapore Art Museum.
2004
Ju Ming’s Island-Wide Exhibition in Singapore
In 2004, iPreciation organised the landmark island-wide presentation of works by Ju Ming in Singapore, marking an important international milestone for the artist. Presented in collaboration with the Singapore Art Museum and the Ju Ming Museum, the exhibition introduced Ju Ming’s monumental sculptures across multiple locations including Changi, Orchard Road and Fullerton Hotel. By extending contemporary sculpture into public and cultural spaces, the project broadened public engagement and contributed to the appreciation of contemporary Asian sculpture in Singapore.
2002
Relocation to Fullerton Hotel, Singapore
In 2002, iPreciation relocated to Fullerton Hotel, strengthening its presence within Singapore’s cultural and civic landscape. This move marked an important phase in the gallery’s development as a contemporary art gallery in Singapore.
2001
Koo Mei Exhibition at Kim Yam Road
In 2001, iPreciation presented an exhibition of artist Koo Mei at its relocated gallery space at 59–61 Kim Yam Road, continuing its commitment to showcasing significant Asian artists in Singapore.
2000
Sculptor Cheung Yee at DP Space, Marina Square Singapore
In 2000, iPreciation presented an exhibition of sculptor Cheung Yee at its early gallery space, DP Space, #04-100 Marina Square Singapore. The exhibition marked one of the gallery’s early presentations of important Asian artistic practices in Singapore.
