iPreciation is proud to announce artist Lee Wen’s (b. 1957, Singapore) participation in “Sunshower: Contemporary Art from Southeast Asia 1980s to Now”, an exhibition presented by The National Art Center, Tokyo, Mori Art Museum and the Japan Foundation Asia Center. This exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) and is slated to be one of the largest Southeast Asian contemporary art exhibitions in history. On showcase are works by artists and art groups from 10 ASEAN countries, including Lee Wen’s Strange Fruit, a photographic series documenting his public performance featuring a red Chinese lantern structure.
