Ye will be creating several new artworks especially for this inaugural event which will showcase his works from 2003 to 2007. His extraordinarily unique Hutong and Lotus series among various older works will be displayed alongside his newer cityscape paintings. Viewers will be able to track the imaginative steps Ye has endeavored throughout his creative journey and to witness the astounding metamorphoses in his art with the ultimate knowledge that for Ye, art is never stagnant. No doubt, Ye Jian Qing is one of the very few Chinese artists in the contemporary Asian art scene who possesses a genuine creative spirit. |
Singapore - After two enormously successful exhibitions staged in Singapore in 2004 and 2005, iPRECIATION is exhibiting Ye Jian Qing’s art to Hong Kong for the very first time! To be held at the Rotunda Exchange Square in Central Hong Kong, it will extend from 27 April to 5 May 2007.
