SINGAPORE - From 28 March to 27 May 2007, Koblenz, Germany- home of the prestigious Ludwig Museum- can look forward to an opportunity for artistic indulgence! Because for the first time, Nobel Laureate Gao Xingjian (b. 1940) will be staging a solo-exhibition there showcasing more than 100 of his profound ink paintings.
An eminent artist with most unique perception in art, Gao will be gracing the opening of this exhibition. Other guests at the opening, slated to be on 28 March 2007, 6.30PM, include the French ambassador Mr. S.E Claude Martin, Mayor of Koblenz Dr. Eberhard Schulte-Wissermann and Ludwig Museum director Dr. Beate Reifenscheid.
