iPreciation successfully made its debut exhibition at Bridge Art Fair, New York. Our showcase of Asian Contemporary Art comprised of sculptures and paintings offer visitors an array of unique and quality works that invites closer inspection and engagement.

Amongst the artworks, Ye Jian Qing’s ‘Urban Reflections’ garnered the most attention with his distinctive painting technique and individual style that, as some have mentioned, resembled Monet’s ‘Waterlilies’. His ‘City Rain’, too, commands a presence that stopped the tracks of passers-by. The hiatus between conversations and looking at the painting from afar, was enough said about the beauty of Ye’s paintings.

Gao Xing Jian ’s ‘Aisance’ and ‘Creation du monde’ depicts a contemplative realm beyond the simplistic ink paintings. Many have known him as a Nobel Laureate winner in Literature thus were pleasantly surprised to know that he paints too.

Cheung Yee ’s ‘Poem’ and sculptures such as ‘4 spirits’ received no less commendations, once again demonstrated the depth of his artworks range and impactful constructs. On the other hand, Juming’s Skirt Series belongs to his recent creations, inviting those who recognize his works to enquire more about this lively and colorful series.

Zhang Jian Jun ’s ‘Manhattan is Modern Again’ conjured an overlapping image of past, present and future and it found many who paused to admire the abstractness of such dichotomies captured on a single canvas. Zhang’s recently commissioned scholar rock ‘Mirage #5’ for the Golden Globe Awards 2007 was also met with utmost interest and awe, with visitors requesting to touch and feel the characteristic texture of the sculpture’s material, silicone rubber.

In engaging visitors with our artworks, we hope to share with them the artists’ experiences, our visions and their self-introspection, providing a platform for them to acquire the works of these contemporary masters.
